Sales & Marketing Executive

About the role

The Dove's Nest Hotel is creating a new Sales & Marketing Executive position to drive room, hall and restaurant bookings by targeting corporate, NGO and institutional accounts while enhancing the hotel's online presence.

Key responsibilities

• Make at least 10 sales calls or visits weekly and issue quotes within 24 hours.
• Manage Google, social media, WhatsApp and online travel agency listings, and oversee guest review processes.
• Control the marketing budget and calendar, reporting enquiries, conversions, bookings and revenue by channel each month.
• Maintain partner and referral agreements with drivers, travel agents and event organisers.
• Coordinate hall and event bookings with the Food and Beverage Supervisor and supervise two trainees.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Tourism.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or hotel/tourism marketing experience.
• Strong local business network in Gulu and surrounding region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google tools for marketing and analytics.
• Experience managing social media platforms.
• Skilled in using WhatsApp for business communication.
• Familiarity with online travel agency platforms and quoting/reporting processes.
