Sales Staff – Full‑time On‑site Role in Kampala

About the role

The Sales Staff role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala for an insurance agency. You will be responsible for identifying and contacting potential clients, presenting the agency’s services and building long‑term relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new leads and conduct cold‑calling activities.
• Schedule, attend and follow up on client meetings.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and negotiate pricing and contract terms within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in sales systems and CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
• Monitor market trends, produce regular sales reports and support sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Strong sales and client relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation and account management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to present services clearly and engage diverse clients.
• Basic knowledge of marketing and advertising to position services effectively.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to prioritize tasks and handle multiple client accounts.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, meet targets and collaborate in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office and productivity tools such as email, word processing and spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems.
