Salesperson – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated Salesperson to join its team in Kampala. You will be responsible for generating new business by promoting the agency’s recruitment and advertising services to potential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients through calls, meetings, and networking events.
• Present the agency’s services, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing and post‑sale follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and client interactions in the sales system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
• Participate in marketing and networking activities to generate fresh leads.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, including follow‑up and account maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and handle multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and basic CRM or office software.
