Salesperson – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

Link Solutions Uganda is seeking a motivated Salesperson to join its insurance agency team in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on expanding the client base and delivering agency services to both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients.
• Present and promote the agency’s insurance and marketing services.
• Conduct sales meetings, prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up on leads to close deals.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and fulfilled.
• Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and meet established sales targets.
• Represent the company professionally and contribute to overall business growth.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Interest or experience in advertising, marketing, and brand promotion services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
• Good organizational and time‑management capabilities, handling multiple clients and deadlines.
• Basic understanding of market research, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Comfort using phones, email, and digital tools for outreach, follow‑up, and reporting.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
