Senior Analyst – Distribution & Channels

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Distribution & Channels will deliver strategic and operational analytics, reporting and performance insights to strengthen MTN MoMo Uganda’s distribution ecosystem. The role supports data‑driven decision‑making across liquidity management, agent operations, channel quality, onboarding, rebalancing, field execution, compliance, customer experience and commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc reports on channel performance, including cash‑in, cash‑out, P2P, rebalancing, agent activity and commissions.
• Provide analytical support to the Senior Manager – Distribution & Channels on liquidity insights, market execution and partner performance.
• Analyse agent performance by classification, territory, transaction value, volume and commission earnings and recommend actions to grow active agents.
• Track and report performance of liquidity channels such as Dealers, Super Agents, Trust Banks and Distributor Rebalancers to ensure reliable float and cash access.
• Conduct liquidity gap analysis at national, regional and site levels, identifying underserved centres and float shortages.
• Monitor execution and progress of Super Agent and rebalancing initiatives, measuring route coverage, productivity and SLA adherence.
• Prepare structured insights and management reports highlighting operational risks, liquidity constraints and recommended corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence to automate dashboards, standardise reporting definitions and improve data quality.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in reporting, performance monitoring and liquidity management within a distribution or financial services environment.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Business Intelligence, Sales, Finance, Technology, Risk & Compliance and external channel partners.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior management.
