Senior HR Generalist – EMEA

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support its EMEA operations. The role is remote within the EMEA region and works closely with the EMEA HR Manager and Global Head of HR to deliver high‑impact HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver precise, compliant HR operations across multiple countries, including talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
• Partner with managers on performance management, organizational design, rewards, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with the HRIS team to refine day‑to‑day HR administration processes.
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and design new HR policies.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic record and HR experience leading initiatives in a technology business.
• Regional HR experience within EMEA, knowledge of local labour laws and senior stakeholder partnership.
• Hands‑on experience in daily HR routines, mentoring, and project management.
• Ability to work in a remote‑first organization and travel up to four times a year.
