Senior Lecturer – Human Resource Management

About the role

The University seeks a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management to join its Faculty of Business and Development Studies. The role involves teaching, research, and contributing to curriculum development while supporting student welfare.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials in assigned HRM subjects and assess examinations and assignments.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish articles, and supervise undergraduate research projects.
• Develop learning materials, short courses, and integrate e‑learning tools into teaching.
• Provide pastoral care, counselling, and career guidance to students.
• Participate in departmental committees, curriculum planning, and other academic activities as required.

Required profile

• PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related fields from a recognised institution.
• Minimum three (3) years of university teaching experience at Lecturer rank.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic human resource management.
• At least two recent scholarly publications in HRM or organizational behaviour.
• Must be a mature, practising Christian.
