About the role
Canonical is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its team in Kampala. You will work on deploying and operating OpenStack, Kubernetes, storage solutions and other open‑source applications while applying DevOps practices.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, run and maintain OpenStack, Kubernetes and storage solutions for mission‑critical services.
- Apply DevOps practices across the full open‑source infrastructure stack from bare metal to containers.
Required profile
- Degree in software engineering or computer science.
- Python software development experience.
- Operational experience in Linux environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
