Team Leader – Business Development in Stock Broking

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Team Leader to head our Aura business unit within Jainam Broking Limited. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, acquiring new high‑net‑worth clients and leading a team of Business Development and Relationship Managers in the stock‑broking and capital‑markets space.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships in the stock market segment.
• Manage and lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Relationship Managers (RMs).
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with HNI/UHNI clients and institutional investors.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure cross‑selling of financial products such as equities, derivatives, mutual funds and PMS.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Track team performance, provide guidance and ensure target achievement.
• Coordinate with internal teams (research, operations, compliance) for smooth client servicing.

Required profile

• 6–12+ years of experience in stock broking, capital markets or wealth management.
• Strong understanding of equity, derivatives and related financial products.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Experience in managing teams and handling key client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• MBA / PGDM in Finance or a related field (preferred).
• NISM certifications (Equity Derivatives, Research Analyst, Mutual Fund) – preferred.
