About the role
The Ambulance Driver is responsible for maintaining the ambulance in optimal condition and transporting patients safely and promptly to medical facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the ambulance is fueled, clean, sanitized, and equipped with functional radio handsets and linen.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, report mechanical issues, and maintain mechanical condition.
- Drive the ambulance to transport patients, providing basic emergency assistance such as controlling bleeding or supporting respiratory distress.
- Maintain a daily driving log with patient details, mileage, and services performed.
Required profile
- O’ Level Certificate.
- Minimum 7 years of driving experience.
- Valid driving permit and competence driving certificate from the Ministry of Works and Transport.
- Defensive driving training is an advantage.
- Good people and communication skills, confidence in accident situations.
