DevOps Project Lead

About the role

BCS Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Project Lead to design, implement, and continuously improve scalable infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational automation across its technology ecosystem. You will drive DevOps initiatives for internal platforms, customer‑facing systems, cloud infrastructure, and Business Support Systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of DevOps projects covering cloud platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Build and manage highly available, resilient cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Promote infrastructure‑as‑code using modern provisioning tools.
• Manage containerisation and orchestration platforms for deployment and scaling.
• Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Embed security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate incident response, root‑cause analysis, and operational improvements.
• Define DevOps standards, governance, and operational procedures.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of automation and reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage technical project timelines.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder coordination and documentation.

• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
