About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated Field Sales & Marketing Executive to generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth of agricultural equipment, machinery and generators across assigned territories in Uganda.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to industries, farmers, dealers and institutional customers to generate leads and close sales.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits and applications, and demonstrate equipment in the field.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Update daily sales activities, customer visits and lead details in the Odoo CRM system.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
- Participate in exhibitions, fairs and local promotional activities as required.
- Coordinate with logistics, service and internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Agribusiness, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of field sales experience, preferably in agriculture, equipment, machinery or generator sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self‑driven and target‑oriented.
- Willingness to travel extensively across rural, semi‑urban and urban areas in Uganda.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Odoo CRM.
