Multimedia & Production Trainee (Part-time, Hybrid)

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is seeking a motivated Multimedia & Production Trainee to join its dynamic team in Kampala. This part‑time, hybrid position offers hands‑on experience in video production, graphic design, and photography while supporting the hub’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit multimedia content for digital platforms.
• Assist in the planning, shooting, and post‑production of video projects.
• Design graphics and visual assets that align with brand guidelines.
• Capture and edit photographs for marketing and promotional use.
• Maintain an organized library of visual assets.
• Contribute ideas to innovative digital content strategies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated interest in multimedia, video production, graphic design, or photography.
• Creativity, strong attention to detail, and a passion for innovative visual storytelling.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with a small team.
• Relevant education or certification in multimedia, design, or related fields is a plus.

Required skills

• Multimedia video production (recording and editing).
• Graphic design and visual composition.
• Photography and post‑production editing.
• Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) – advantage.
