Pro Bono Social Media & Content Strategist (Volunteer)

About the role

Pro Bono Uganda is looking for a creative, purpose‑driven Social Media & Content Strategist to amplify the stories behind its community impact, youth leadership, and social change initiatives. This volunteer position offers a chance to use digital platforms for meaningful social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule posts, including graphics, videos, and captions.
• Write compelling stories that highlight community impact and volunteers.
• Cover events and campaigns digitally.
• Engage with followers, partners, and volunteers online.
• Track engagement metrics and prepare simple monthly insights.
• Support campaign launches and increase visibility for fundraising or partnerships.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in communications, media, marketing, journalism, or digital content.
• Experience managing social media accounts, either personal or for an organization.
