Sales & Marketing Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Representative will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The position focuses on acquiring new clients, presenting advertising and marketing solutions, and guiding prospects through the complete sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and qualify potential customers for insurance and marketing services.
• Present tailored advertising and marketing solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships, handling inquiries and after‑sales support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Track sales performance against targets and prepare regular reports.
• Provide product and service information and support marketing campaigns.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and agency offerings.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales and sales‑management experience with a focus on revenue growth.
• Ability to learn and share product knowledge with clients and teammates.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles, advertising services and market research.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in sales, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
