Sales Staff – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Staff role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala for an insurance agency. You will be responsible for turning prospects into long‑term customers by building strong relationships and delivering compelling product presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients and follow up on leads.
• Conduct product and service presentations and prepare proposals.
• Build and maintain client relationships to achieve sales targets.
• Gather market feedback and contribute to sales planning.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Support business development initiatives and ensure a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong sales, customer relationship management, and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of business planning, business development, and basic advertising concepts.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time efficiently.
• Previous experience in sales, client service, or business development is an advantage.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Kampala is an asset.
