Senior Sales Executive

About the role

SVG VENTURES PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES LLC is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to lead the full sales cycle for its international trade finance services in Kampala. The role involves prospecting, solution design, presentations, negotiations and closing deals while ensuring client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the international trade finance sector.
• Develop tailored financial solutions and proposals for prospective clients.
• Conduct presentations and product demos to decision‑makers.
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, compliance) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to refine sales strategies.
• Maintain and grow long‑term relationships with existing clients.

Required profile

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals, preferably in trade finance or related financial services.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical mindset to understand market trends and client needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management.
• Strong organizational and time‑management capabilities.
