Swahili/Kiswahili Linguistic Tester (Remote, Mac M-Series Required)

About the role

Acclaro is looking for native Swahili/Kiswahili speakers with strong English comprehension to join its global linguistic community as freelance testers. The role is fully remote and focuses on quality assurance of AI‑generated and localized content in the IT and software domain.

Key responsibilities

• Perform linguistic QA by reviewing and refining Swahili/Kiswahili content for natural flow and cultural accuracy.
• Test software and user interfaces, identifying layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in the Swahili/Kiswahili version.
• Document and report linguistic and technical errors in English following provided guidelines.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in written and spoken Swahili/Kiswahili.
• Professional‑level English comprehension and written communication.
• Own a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M‑series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer).
• Strong cultural awareness of modern Swahili idioms and regional nuances.
• Comfort navigating new software interfaces and following detailed testing procedures.
