Tailor – Hybrid On-site in Ntinda, Kampala

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Tailor to join our hybrid, on‑site team in Ntinda, Kampala. You will help produce laptop bags for the Kindred social enterprise, supporting livelihood opportunities for refugee women.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, sew and assemble various materials to produce high‑quality laptop bags.
• Operate tailoring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support day‑to‑day production activities and maintain quality standards.
• Complete assigned work within agreed timelines.
• Follow instructions and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling equipment.

Required profile

• Good tailoring and sewing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut and sew different materials.
• Good time‑management, organizational and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ntinda, Kampala and contribute to a social enterprise for refugee women.
• Interest in contributing to a social enterprise that creates livelihood opportunities for refugee women (advantage).
