Talent Development & Employee Engagement Supervisor

About the role

Twyford International Uganda is looking for a passionate Talent Development & Employee Engagement Supervisor to drive employee growth, strengthen organisational culture, and enhance workforce capability. The role will coordinate learning initiatives, implement annual training plans, and promote engagement programs that foster a positive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and deliver training programs that meet organisational and departmental needs.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals and other learning resources.
• Facilitate induction and orientation for new hires.
• Manage internal and external training sessions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate training records and learning databases.
• Support the development and execution of the annual training and development plan.
• Ensure mandatory training on policies, procedures, safety and compliance is completed.
• Track participation, completion rates and evaluate training outcomes.
• Develop and implement employee engagement programmes, events, recognition and team‑building activities.
• Coordinate wellness, health, safety and welfare initiatives.
• Compile and analyse training reports, budgets, attendance and effectiveness metrics.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and support succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development or related field.
• Proven experience in learning and development, employee engagement or talent development.
• Strong organisational, communication and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with managers and cross‑functional teams.
