Category Management Analyst – Uganda

About the role

Join the Q‑commerce team at Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, to shape the shopping experience for users across Uganda. You will be responsible for building the right assortment, pricing, and promotion strategies that drive convenience and immediacy for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure new products with correct margins and stock availability.
• Lead assortment definition and optimization strategy.
• Organise and sort the product assortment based on user needs to deliver an excellent shopping experience.
• Develop, implement and track processes to ensure content strategy execution.
• Manage promotions and capture cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in FMCG, retail or on‑demand services, preferably in category management, trade marketing or purchasing.
• Experience with e‑commerce is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
