Commission-Based Sales Representative (Loan Products)

About the role

The Commission Hunter is a full‑time, on‑site sales position based in Kampala. You will promote Platinum Credit Limited’s emergency and short‑term loan products to civil servants, teachers, and employees of partner companies, driving product uptake and meeting aggressive sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify and approach new clients in the target market.
• Explain loan products, eligibility criteria and guide customers through the application and documentation process.
• Conduct field visits, build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partner organisations.
• Capture client information accurately, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Report sales performance regularly to branch and regional leadership.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
• High integrity, professionalism and strict adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Minimum high school diploma; a certificate or diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in financial services, insurance or direct sales is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Basic financial literacy and understanding of micro‑finance loan products.
