Commission Sales Agent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commission Sales Agent to join our team in Nakawa, Kampala. You will be responsible for driving new business by promoting our trade finance solutions to potential clients and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and qualify prospective clients.
• Present trade finance products, explain documentation requirements and close sales.
• Maintain a personal sales pipeline and follow up on leads.
• Conduct client meetings and keep accurate records of all interactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Meet performance goals and stay updated on industry developments.
• Participate in ongoing training to deepen product and market knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales skills including lead generation, negotiation and closing.
• Knowledge of insurance or related financial products applied to trade finance.
• Quick learner with the capacity to explain complex products clearly.
• Integrity, goal‑orientation and the ability to work independently while collaborating on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM tools.
