Cost and Management Accountant

About the role

The Cost and Management Accountant will provide strategic financial intelligence, cost control and decision support for Birus Property Services Ltd’s real‑estate operations, including land acquisition, development, construction and leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Track, allocate and monitor all costs related to land purchases, sales, developments and construction projects, ensuring accurate project costing and profitability tracking.
• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario planning, monitor budget performance and conduct monthly variance analysis with recommendations.
• Analyse profitability by land, building, tenant and project, and propose optimisation or cost‑reduction initiatives targeting at least 5% annual savings.
• Produce timely monthly and quarterly management reports and KPI dashboards for senior management and the Board.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is a strong advantage.
• 3‑5 years progressive experience in cost and management accounting, with strong project costing and budgeting expertise.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software.
• Expert use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting tools.
