Full‑time Cleaner – On‑site (Uganda)

About the role

This full-time, on-site Cleaner position is based in Uganda. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across offices, washrooms, corridors and other common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust and wipe surfaces in assigned areas.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to procedures.
• Clean windows, fixtures and restock hygiene supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and follow safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to keep spaces neat and presentable.

Required profile

• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic hygiene, sanitation and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending and moderate lifting.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong sense of responsibility.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to understand simple instructions and safety labels.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
