Human Resource Trainee – Full‑time (Kampala)

About the role

Starting on July 1, 2026, TechBuzz Hub is looking for a full‑time Human Resource Trainee to join its team in Kampala. The trainee will support the HR department with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, recruitment assistance, benefits administration and employee relations while gaining practical experience in a dynamic startup incubator environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates and scheduling interviews.
• Conduct new‑employee orientations and support onboarding activities.
• Help implement HR policies and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Administer employee benefits and answer related queries.
• Support employee relations initiatives and address routine HR inquiries.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a course in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong interest in enterprise development, technology innovation and startup environments.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR management principles and policies.
• Familiarity with employee benefits administration.
• Understanding of recruitment processes and employee relations.
