IT Supervisor – Kapeeka Factory

About the role

The IT Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day IT operations at Twyford International’s Kapeeka factory in Nakaseke District, Uganda. The role ensures a reliable, secure and efficient IT environment that supports production, administration, finance, HR and other business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, configuration and maintenance of LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, firewalls and related network equipment.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues and coordinate with ISPs and vendors.
• Provide hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, servers and other peripherals, including inventory management and equipment allocation.
• Deliver first‑level support for the company ERP and other business applications, escalating complex issues to central IT.
• Implement basic IT security controls, manage user accounts, passwords and access rights, and ensure protection against malware.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, equipment records and configuration settings.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of hands‑on IT experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Mid‑level technical expertise with a proven ability to supervise local IT support activities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently on site.
