Laboratory Partnerships Lead – Results-Based (Full or Part-Time)

About the role

MR Health is a new home-diagnostics service in Kampala: customers book on WhatsApp, a trained phlebotomist collects samples at home, and an accredited partner lab runs the tests. The company is looking for an experienced diagnostics professional to sign Kampala laboratories as partners using relationships they already have. This is a results-based role: you are paid for each laboratory signed, not for time or travel, and it can be full-time or part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Sign at least 5 laboratories in Kampala to an SLA and MOU with MR Health within 45 days.
• Aim for at least 2 of the 5 at the target partner prices, shared with shortlisted candidates.
• Secure agreements on volume-based flat-rate bundle pricing for health screening packages, with free home sample collection.
• Target accredited standalone commercial labs, private hospital labs and institutional/NGO labs; laboratories already worked with by MR Health are excluded.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior experience in medical diagnostic sales, healthcare corporate alliances or hospital network management within Uganda.
• Established personal network with laboratory owners, chief pathologists, medical directors and other decision-makers at major healthcare facilities in Kampala.
• Located in commutable distance to Kampala, Central Region, Uganda.
• Track record of structuring complex B2B commercial agreements and negotiating against standard retail pricing models in healthcare diagnostics.
• Experience securing SLAs with diagnostic laboratories or hospital networks based on volume-driven flat-rate bundle pricing.
• Experience mapping, pitching and closing partnerships with accredited labs in Kampala.
• Available to start immediately, full-time or part-time; part-time is possible if your network lets you close labs through existing relationships.
• Nice to have: a laboratory science or clinical background.

Paying terms: UGX 500,000-600,000 per laboratory signed, paid once both the SLA and MOU are signed. No fixed salary or travel allowance. Candidates must declare any current paid relationship with a laboratory. Applications close on Friday 6 November.
