MIS Officer

About the role

The MIS Officer will support the Finance Department by leveraging information systems to generate insightful reports that drive effective decision‑making. This role focuses on collecting, analysing, and visualising data from internal and external sources to improve business performance across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and extract data from system databases, market insights and online sources.
• Produce daily performance reports covering all business functions and departments.
• Populate and maintain staff, product profitability and relationship manager scorecards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate information management into performance management.
• Continuously innovate, automate and improve data analytics, models and visualisations.
• Support quality‑assurance mechanisms and ensure data integrity for audits.
• Prepare and disseminate MIS reports within agreed service level agreements.
• Automate financial reporting in coordination with the Financial Planning & Analytics Manager.
• Assist in the rollout of new banking products to meet financial and IT requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data‑related role.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good numerical and IT competence with sound financial knowledge.
