Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

The Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement Manager will lead quality improvement initiatives across d.light’s Africa business. The role focuses on identifying, analysing and eliminating product and process issues that affect customer experience, reliability and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality excellence initiatives across products, service operations, supply chain and partner networks.
• Identify systemic quality issues and develop sustainable improvement actions and roadmaps.
• Conduct deep‑dive investigations of product failures, warranty returns, field defects and customer complaints.
• Validate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and coordinate technical reviews with engineering, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Monitor product reliability performance, identify recurring issues and support validation activities.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Service Operations and Commercial teams to reduce repeat failures and improve satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards, analyse trends in returns, warranty claims and customer feedback.
• Act as the focal point for cross‑functional quality improvement across Africa, ensuring timely implementation and closure of actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading quality and continuous improvement programmes in a product‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with engineering, supply chain, service and commercial teams.
