Sales Agent – Field Sales for Heavy Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Sales Agent to develop sales within an assigned territory, focusing on heavy equipment, spare parts and construction or mining machinery. The role involves proactive prospecting, managing customer relationships and delivering profitable sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers in the assigned territory, identifying needs and business opportunities.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers and prospects, conducting scheduled visits and follow‑ups.
• Identify, qualify and manage sales opportunities, preparing commercial proposals and quotations.
• Keep accurate and up‑to‑date information in the CRM system and prepare visit and activity reports.
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments, identifying new projects and emerging customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety and policy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of field sales experience, preferably in equipment, machinery, heavy‑equipment or spare‑parts sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
