Sales Agent – Insurance (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Agent to join our insurance agency in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on generating new business, presenting our services to prospective clients, and converting leads into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market.
• Meet with prospects, explain insurance offerings, and deliver tailored sales pitches.
• Follow up on leads, maintain accurate records of client interactions, and close sales.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet client needs and provide basic product information.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on market trends and sales techniques.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional approach to inquiries and concerns.
• Proven sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Basic knowledge of insurance products or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
