Sales Executive – Trade Finance (Nakawa, Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Executive will work on‑site in Nakawa, Kampala, identifying and engaging potential clients for trade finance solutions. You will present tailored financial products, build and maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients interested in cross‑border trade finance.
• Present and propose trade finance solutions, preparing detailed proposals.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct client meetings, follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Address customer inquiries and provide regular updates on market trends and client needs.
• Prepare accurate sales activity reports.
• Participate in local business events to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and client relationship management abilities.
• Knowledge of international trade, finance or banking concepts.
• Clear communication and professional handling of client queries.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• Prior sales experience, preferably in financial services or B2B environments.
• High integrity, attention to detail and willingness to learn trade finance products.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and collaborate with a diverse team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to prepare and format sales reports.
