Sales Staff – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a full‑time Sales Staff member to work on‑site in Kampala. You will identify new business opportunities, engage prospective clients and present the agency’s insurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and present insurance solutions.
• Meet clients, conduct sales calls, follow‑ups and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities and performance metrics.
• Build long‑term client relationships and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Stay informed about market trends, represent the agency professionally and contribute ideas to improve sales strategies.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and client relationship management skills.
• Solid organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple leads and meetings.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional local language skills are a plus.
• Comfort using office productivity tools and basic CRM or sales‑tracking systems.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or business development and a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or a related field are advantageous.
