Drug Representative – Medical & Diagnostic Products

About the role

The Drug Representative will promote and detail Sysmex and Becton Dickinson medical and diagnostic products to healthcare facilities, laboratories and clinics in Kampala and surrounding areas. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers daily to present product benefits and answer clinical and technical questions.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and prepare regular sales reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability and support marketing activities.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries and after‑sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, preferably within the medical or pharmaceutical sector.
• Basic knowledge of medical, laboratory or pharmaceutical products with the ability to learn technical details quickly.
• Diploma or degree in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
• Motivated, able to work independently, travel within Kampala and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software and digital tools for managing client data, preparing presentations and reporting.
