Sales Team Leader – Logbook Finance

About the role

Platinum Credit Uganda Limited is seeking a dynamic Sales Team Leader to drive its Logbook Finance product line. You will lead a group of field‑based agents, expanding the market for car logbook loans and asset finance while ensuring high credit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of Logbook Sales Agents to achieve monthly lending targets.
• Identify and acquire new clients through market mapping and territory expansion.
• Conduct client appraisals, verify vehicle documents and assess borrower eligibility.
• Guide clients through documentation, verification and loan onboarding processes.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Monitor credit quality and portfolio performance to minimise defaults.
• Stay informed on micro‑finance trends, competitor pricing and regulatory changes in Uganda.
• Prepare and submit daily sales activity reports and pipeline updates to branch management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 36 months of proven sales experience, preferably in micro‑finance, banking or asset‑lending.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and plan activities for field‑based sales agents.
• Target‑driven mindset with strong negotiation and financial literacy.
