Salesperson – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Salesperson to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role involves identifying and approaching potential clients, presenting our recruitment and advertising services, and managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage new clients for insurance‑related recruitment and advertising solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals and follow up on inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and report on market trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or customer‑facing roles, preferably in recruitment, advertising or related services.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage pipelines, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently on‑site.
• Integrity, resilience and a proactive attitude towards learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software and digital communication tools.
