Android QA Engineer

About the role

The Android QA Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of our Android applications through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with development and automation teams to deliver robust, user‑focused products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Eclipse Test Framework.
• Perform end‑to‑end test executions on CI platforms such as Jenkins and GoCD.
• Manage the lifecycle of production tools for virtual‑reality features.
• Create and execute functional test plans, and collaborate with the Automation team to define automation strategies for new and existing products.
• Report QA activities, defect trends, and project status regularly.
• Prepare Master Test Plans and obtain QA sign‑off for Agile and waterfall projects.
• Conduct testing for data‑intensive, critical applications.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT (nice to have).
• At least 2 years of hands‑on testing experience from both technical and customer perspectives.
• Familiarity with Android platform tech stacks.
• Proficiency with Git commands (branching, tagging, staging, credential caching).
