Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will work on‑site in Fort Portal, driving growth for Info‑Code’s ICT and business advisory services. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets and identify potential business opportunities.
• Develop proposals, prepare presentations and coordinate meetings with prospective and existing clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs.
• Follow up on leads, support contract negotiations and monitor the performance of business development initiatives.
• Provide regular reports and contribute to strategic planning to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development skills, including prospecting and pipeline management.
• Solid analytical abilities and a good understanding of finance for basic projections and business cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear proposals and persuasive presentations.
• Customer‑service orientation to manage client expectations and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, ICT or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in consultancy, ICT services or business advisory environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM systems.
