Data Analyst – Retail and Business Banking

About the role

The Data Analyst will support Retail and Business Banking by delivering accurate, timely information that drives business decisions. Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics, you will work closely with multiple bank units to translate performance data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily accurate information on business direction through MI processes.
• Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators for Retail and Business Banking.
• Collect, consolidate and submit KPI data, and coordinate communication cascades.
• Prepare performance review packs and present findings to stakeholders.
• Convene stakeholder meetings to discuss emerging data trends.
• Review, refresh or re‑engineer analytics outputs in a changing data environment.
• Design and automate performance dashboards for seamless reporting.
• Automate manual spreadsheet processes to improve reporting turnaround time.
• Develop new data solutions, including data marts, MI and analytical models.
• Lead projects and initiatives that champion data‑driven improvements across the bank.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret both financial and non‑financial data.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various bank units and senior leadership.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying performance improvements.
• Experience in developing and presenting business intelligence reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an analytics team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data manipulation and automation.
