About the role
Absa Bank Uganda is looking for an Enterprise Banker to drive growth by acquiring new SME customers, deepening existing relationships, and delivering tailored banking solutions. The role blends sales, relationship management, credit origination, and compliance to support the bank's business banking objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire new enterprise banking customers and expand existing client portfolios.
- Promote and sell business banking products and services to meet sales targets.
- Prepare and submit SME credit applications in line with Absa lending guidelines.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess loan eligibility.
- Maintain compliance with KYC, AML, and internal policies.
Required profile
- Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, Management Studies or related field.
- Strong sales, relationship management and customer service abilities.
- Understanding of KYC, AML and banking regulatory requirements.
Required skills
- Knowledge of SME banking products and lending processes.
- Financial analysis capability.
- Proficiency in KYC compliance.
- Proficiency in AML compliance.
