Insurance Agency Salesperson – Kampala

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson position based in Kampala. You will drive new business for an insurance agency by promoting its advertising and marketing services to prospective partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, calls and meetings.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts and follow up to close deals.
• Collaborate with internal creative and strategic teams to align client needs with solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales reports and update CRM tools regularly.
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven sales, business development or account‑management experience in advertising, marketing or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Basic understanding of branding, campaigns and digital channels.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills to handle multiple leads and proposals.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a client‑facing environment in Kampala.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related area is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software.
• Experience using CRM tools.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (advantageous).
