IT Techno-Functional Manager – SAP

About the role

The IT Techno-Functional Manager – SAP will lead the planning, design, implementation and ongoing management of the SAP landscape for a manufacturing and warehousing organization. This senior position bridges functional business knowledge with deep technical expertise to ensure SAP solutions support strategic objectives and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation, configuration and customization of the full SAP suite.
• Design, optimise and maintain SAP systems for stability, scalability and compliance with SAP standards.
• Manage all project phases – requirements gathering, design, go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Provide expert troubleshooting, performance tuning and debugging of complex SAP issues.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Oversee system upgrades, patches and performance tuning activities.
• Architect SAP solutions that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement Agile practices to enhance delivery speed and team collaboration.
• Advise and train business users, ensuring clear communication and ongoing support.
• Manage relationships with SAP vendors, consultants and implementation partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience (96 months) in SAP implementation and management.
• Proven senior‑level experience leading cross‑functional SAP teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and warehousing processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
