Job description
About the role
Supabase, the Postgres development platform, is looking for a Customer Solution Architect (CSA) to support its Team & Enterprise customers across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. CSAs work with high-value customers to understand their needs, design technical solutions on the Supabase platform, run proof-of-value implementations and act as trusted advisors throughout the customer journey.

- Design, build and present platform demonstrations to high-value customers, using clear storytelling.
- Work with the Growth team to size deals, estimate usage and identify supported workloads.
- Run proof-of-value onboarding: define scope, timelines, business outcomes and success criteria, then guide new customers through onboarding via emails, docs, guides and webinars.
- Build account plans covering immediate goals (onboarding, adoption) and long-term opportunities (optimization, new workloads).
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous engagements, including architecture assessments, database design and performance optimization, and proactive support for scaling.
- Act as an internal champion, giving feedback to Support, Product and Engineering and sharing platform roadmaps with customers.
Required profile
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering or similar.
- Strong background with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements.
- Very strong communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Well-organized storyteller able to mediate between stakeholders with conflicting views.
Required skills
- Web application development background, with familiarity with Python, C#, React, Vue, Svelte and Node.js.
- Experience with project management, business analysis and revenue operations tools; HubSpot and BigQuery are helpful.
What we offer
- Fully remote work, with a WeWork membership or co-working allowance.
- Equity ownership (ESOP) for every team member.
- Tech allowance to set up your home office.
- Health insurance coverage: 100% for employees, 80% for dependents.
- Annual off-site gathering and a flexible, asynchronous way of working.
- Annual education allowance for courses, books and conferences.
