Manager, Warehouse/Fleet/Asset Emergency Response Team

About the role

The Manager, Warehouse/Fleet/Asset Emergency Response Team supports International Medical Corps’ emergency response by ensuring that warehousing, fleet, and asset management processes meet humanitarian standards and donor requirements. This position works closely with logistics, program, HR, and security teams to maintain operational readiness in disaster‑affected areas.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor warehouse, asset, and fleet management policies, including cold‑chain, narcotics, and dangerous goods handling.
• Define vehicle requirements, oversee technical selection, coordinate fuel supply, maintenance, and spare parts for health facilities and base camps.
• Manage daily vehicle checks, driver scheduling, VHF communication equipment setup, and 24/7 transportation services for personnel, patients, and cargo.
• Establish a centralized asset tracking system, assign unique IDs, and ensure accurate inventory and burn‑rate reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years of humanitarian logistics experience, including at least 3 years in emergency supply chain, transport, and commodity management.
• Proven ability to build capacity of national staff and manage remote teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
