Procurement Buyer – Coffee (Lukaaya/Miwula)

About the role

The Procurement Buyer will lead the sourcing and acquisition of coffee beans, inputs and related services for Lukaaya/Miwula. The role ensures timely delivery of quality goods while meeting cost and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and select reliable coffee suppliers and farmers.
• Monitor order status, ensure timely deliveries and manage inventory.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Track market trends affecting coffee production inputs and logistics.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2‑3 years of experience in coffee procurement, preferably in the Lukaaya or Miwula region.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts.

What we offer

• Monthly gross salary of UGX 1,000,000 (negotiable based on experience).
• Full‑time permanent position reporting to the Director.
