Regional Fieldforce Lead – Anglophone Sub-Saharan Africa

About the role

The Regional Fieldforce Lead will oversee IQVIA's fieldforce operations across Anglophone Sub‑Saharan Africa, driving commercial excellence and sales growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will translate regional strategies into actionable field plans and ensure high‑quality execution across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage fieldforce teams across several countries, ensuring effective territory design, resource allocation and customer coverage.
• Drive execution of hybrid engagement models for healthcare professionals and pharmacy channels.
• Monitor performance against business objectives and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities for productivity improvements.
• Deliver sales growth, market‑share expansion and successful promotional campaigns.
• Coach and develop Hybrid Team Leaders and field‑based staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and maintain high standards of data quality and governance.
• Lead regular business reviews, providing market insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or related field; postgraduate qualification or MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer‑healthcare or FMCG environments.
• Demonstrated success leading regional sales or fieldforce teams across multiple markets.
• Strong understanding of healthcare professional engagement and commercial execution.
• Track record of delivering sales growth and operational excellence.
