Sales Agent – Trade Finance (Nakawa, Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Agent to join our team in Nakawa, Kampala. You will promote our trade finance and related services, guiding clients through the full sales cycle from first contact to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients interested in cross‑border trade finance solutions.
• Present service offerings, prepare tailored sales proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Follow up on leads, coordinate with internal departments, and maintain accurate client records.
• Update CRM and other sales tools in line with company processes.
• Participate in training sessions, sales meetings, and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with problem‑solving ability.
• Sales aptitude, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and willingness to learn its link to trade finance.
• Interest in international trade finance and related financial services.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet targets.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in sales or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory.
