Sales Agent – Trade Finance Solutions (Kampala)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Agent position is based in Kampala and focuses on promoting trade finance solutions to prospective clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, guiding customers through the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to deal closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients interested in trade finance services.
• Present and tailor trade finance solutions to meet client needs.
• Manage the sales process end‑to‑end, including negotiations and closing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing customer service.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account management.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics.
• Participate in regular training sessions and contribute to team targets.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven sales experience with prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Knowledge of insurance and related financial products.
• Ability to learn quickly and share product knowledge with clients or colleagues.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala, meet sales targets, and thrive in a fast‑paced, diverse environment.
• Beneficial: experience in trade finance or banking, familiarity with international business practices, and a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
