Sales Manager - PET Packaging

About the role

Samco Plastics Ltd, a PET packaging solutions provider offering a large inventory of molds and over 100 product designs, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Manager in Kampala. The role drives sales growth and expands market presence for its PET packaging solutions, working with clients across several sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage key accounts
• Build long-term client relationships and deliver sales presentations
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to match customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities
• Monitor sales performance, forecast demand and prepare regular sales reports
• Contribute to sales strategies and marketing initiatives
• Take part in customer visits, industry events and market research

Required profile

• Demonstrated sales management, account management and business development experience in PET manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, travel to customers and handle multiple priorities in a fast pace

Required skills

• Sales forecasting, pipeline management and CRM tools (a plus)
• Customer relationship management, negotiation and presentation skills
• Good understanding of industrial or PET packaging products
